Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.

Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

John Ackers

John Ackers

John Ackers has been campaigning on climate change for over 10 years. He volunteers with Campaign against Climate Change, an organization that has organised street protests on climate change since 2001.

The Campaign against Climate Change also coordinates the Global Climate Campaign, an international network of organizations in more than 90 countries that come together on a Global Day of Action during the UN climate talks each year to call for fair and strong action on climate change.

As a major part of the Global Day of Action, the CCC organises the National Climate March in the UK, and in the coming year the campaign will be working with Stop Climate Chaos to put on the biggest climate demonstration that the UK has ever seen, on 5th December 2009.
