Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.

Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

Danny Chivers

Danny is a freelance environmental researcher, writer, campaigner and performance poet. In 2006, he went along to something called the "Climate Camp" that had popped up next to Drax coal-fired power station in Yorkshire. He was so inspired by what he saw - a joyously defiant eco-community taking real action against the root causes of climate change - that he started going along to meetings and before long was part of the Camp's media and networking team.

After successful camps at Heathrow in 2007 and Kingsnorth in 2008, the Camp for Climate Action is now gearing up for an action-packed 2009. For starters, on April 1st, there'll be a 24-hour Climate Camp in London's financial district, drawing the links between the economic crisis and the climate crisis. See www.climatecamp.org.uk for more details, or chat to Danny after the film!
