Morning,
Below is the near-as-dammit complete list of speaker events happening this week. Please forward to... oh yeah, you all know the score. Pretty impressive line-up eh? Don't miss Ed Miliband and I having a 45 minute chat after the screening at the Tricycle tomorrow night: Ed only confirmed yesterday but it's already nearly sold out, so hurry hurry if you want to be there to witness round two. (Round one now online here.)
Interesting phenomenon going on whereby the tabloids love the film (4 stars and rave reviews in almost all) but the broadsheets not only think it's a bit rubbish but then say we're preaching to the converted. But how can we be preaching to the converted if the tabloids are lapping it up? (Having said that, the FTTelegraph and Times were all very enthusiastic, it was just the ones which traditionally do loads of climate change coverage (GuardianIndependent) who weren't. Explain that if you can.)
I'm too embarrassed to watch, but apparently our 10 minutes on Newsnight Review - including my bust-up with Swindle director Martin Durkin - last night made for entertaining telly. Watch here. And the Guardian's weekly podcast - which gets 50,000 listeners - also had a fat feature on Stupid.
Murky cameraphone photo attached from Lizzie in Edinburgh last night.
See you somewhere along the way,
Franny
