Morning
If anyone's bored this morning/lunchtime, there's a gang out on the streets of London giving out free copies of a spoof Financial Times from 2020 (in which Age of Stupid gets a few mentions). They're in need of more helpers, so please call 07779792675 if you'd like to join them. Detailed info from them below or at: http://ft2020.com. Nice day for it.

RECLAIM THE SHEETS
Friday, 27 March, from 6.30 am, near Waterloo station

It’s time to Make Carbon History, and prove we’re Not Stupid.

Tomorrow morning, we’re printing news from 2020, showing how action
today made the future possible. Your help will help to spread the
words.

THE PLAN

Come to Waterloo (before, during or instead of work), pick up some
special newspapers and hand them out near central London tube
stations.

You can take as many as you can carry, go wherever you want, and
return as often as you like. We’ll suggest distribution points,
including some for one-off drops. Whether you can spare a few minutes
or the whole morning, please join us. And bring your friends...

MEETING POINT

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=103+The+Cut,+London&sll=51.502091,-0.109048&sspn=0.007921,0.018754&gl=uk&ie=UTF8&ll=51.502599,-0.109649&spn=0.007921,0.018754&z=16

- Find us on The Cut, near the Old Vic, wearing Hi Viz jackets.
- We’ll be there from 6.30 am until around noon.
- The earlier you can make it, the better.

WHAT TO BRING

- A large bag, ideally a rucksack, suitable for carrying lots of
newspapers. The bigger the better - you won’t have to walk far
- Comfortable shoes (a pile of newspapers isn’t the lightest load)
- A Hi Viz jacket if you have one (suggests you’re standing around for
a reason)
- A travelcard (we might be able to help if buying one would stop you
coming)
- A map or mini A-Z (just in case)
- A smile for commuters (and maybe some cameras)
- A willingness to face the unexpected (including rain - umbrellas
could help)

WHAT YOU’LL GET

- A pile of newspapers, and suggestions on what to do with them (and
where)
- An unpredictable response from passers by
- A warm fuzzy feeling (we hope)
- Invitations to a special after-party (when we find out who’s hosting
it)

SPECIAL REQUESTS

- If you’d like to film this action, or take pictures, please get in
touch
