This screening is happening in conjunction with Climate Camp’s Coal Caravan. The Coal Caravan will be travelling by foot and bicycle through the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the North East between 24th April and 4th May in response to the planned rapid expansion of the coal industry.

Coal means many things to many people. For the conservationist, it means the destruction of nature. For the miner or energy worker, it means a job. For energy and mining corporations, coal means money; but for locals near open cast mines, it means reduced quality of life. For mining communities, coal means history and tradition. And for the climate activist, it spells doom.
