Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.

Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

Fiona Dear

Fiona Dear

Fiona’s background is in wildlife conservation and she worked on a parrot research and conservation project for several years in Central America. After coming back to the UK in 2006, she realised how urgent the climate crisis was and became involved with the Campaign against Climate Change, an organization that has organised street protests on climate change since 2001. The Campaign against Climate Change also coordinates the Global Climate Campaign, an international network of organizations in more than 90 countries that come together on a Global Day of Action during the UN climate talks each year to call for fair and strong action on climate change. As a major part of the Global Day of Action, the CCC organises the National Climate March in the UK, and in the coming year the campaign will be working with Stop Climate Chaos to put on the biggest climate demonstration that the UK has ever seen, on 5th December 2009. Fiona started volunteering with the campaign in 2006, mainly working on outreach with Latin American countries for the global campaign. Since 2007 she has worked full time for CCC on both the UK and international campaigns.
