Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.

Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

Kate Tansley

Kate Tansley became co-chair of the Liverpool University Green Group whilst at university and has been involved in environmental causes for some years. She works in the voluntary sector managing a project to improve health care for a vulnerable group of people. One of her previous projects around empowering a community was awarded Beacon Status by the government. She is involved in the Green Party and the Campaign against Climate Change, and once was the Chief Steward for a CCC march. She hopes to visit Copenhagen this year.
