Read all about the world record beating People's Premiere here.

Normal film premieres are glitzy and exclusive, with nobody invited except VIPs - but the People's Premiere is different: VIPs, IPs and plain old Ps are all welcome to the world's first INclusive film launch. Featuring synchronised screenings at a staggering 60 different cinemas across the nation. With a solar-powered cinema tent pitched in London's Leicester Square, the People's Premiere is also the planet's first truly green film premiere - no greenwash allowed.

Jonathan Whittaker

Cllr. Dr. Jonathan Whittaker BDS.

Jonathan is a member of the National Committee of Campaign against Climate Change. He is an elected member of Gloucester City Council where he champions environmental issues. He has been a dental surgeon since qualifying in Liverpool in 1980 and feels as such he gains a snapshot of public opinion by talking to 2,000 people every 6 months! Organiser of many climate change events in Gloucestershire, he also helps run the websites www.trafficlights4peace.com  and www.saveourplanetday.co.uk.  He is an active member of the Stop Heathrow Expansion groups and set up the unusual visual petition on sheets of cloth called ‘The Sipson Shroud’. His latest challenge is the setting up of ‘999 Planet in Peril’ for Sept. 9th 2009, due to be launched shortly, which is about a simple proactive way of informing the public at large of the vital significance of the UN’s IPCC Copenhagen talks in December.

Richard Craft

I'm a retired primary school headteacher and have been involved in Climate Friendly Bradford on Avon right from its inception in May 2006.  My wife, Carol and I run the local Freecycle group; I am a keen cyclist and Volunteer Liaison Ranger for Sustrans, helping to look after Route 4 of the National Cycle Network on the Kennet and Avon Canal.

CFB is a thriving and very active group run by a very committed bunch of people who, like me are passionate about doing their best to live low carbon lives.  It is a great community group to work with and we are becoming an increasingly influential group in the town and surrounding villages.  Our main challenge now is to spread the word much wider to encourage more people to embrace a low carbon lifestyle.

I am not a climate change expert, just someone who is passionate about caring for the environment who wants to lead as low a carbon lifestyle as possible yet still enjoy himself!
