I'd been working on media projects and wanted to use my background in gender. Seeing how climate change affects the lives of women through reduced access to clean water and food procurement, etc, etc while globally women have a proportionally small say in decision making. The Age of Stupid was a natural place to contribute my interests and skills. Memorable moment:
Coming in for an interview and being told I didn't get the job. But that they had a different job, created on the spot. I was to start the next day on a 5am train to meet Franny in Brussels for a morning Friends of the Earth meeting and then Greenpeace in Amsterdam by lunch. Guilty of:

Trying damn well hard to I grew up in Northern California and went to Uni in Los Angeles (Media Studies with a focus in Feminist Documentary Film). After working for a year in San Francisco in state politics with women's issues I came to London where I did an MSc Gender and Social Policy at the London School of Economics. Upon graduating I've worked on projects with The Women's Resource Centre, Amnesty International, MIND and Birds Eye View film festival.
