Timelapse shoot on train

Director Franny Armstrong and Producer Lizzie Gillett filming the seasonal timelapse shot from a train in the French Alps. The pair travelled to Chamonix four times and repeated the exact same shot in each season. Every single aspect had to be exactly the same so the shots could be edited together effectively to produce the timelapse shot in the film. This meant catching the same train, at the same time of day, from the same station, on a day with the same weather, flming out the same window, with all the same settings on the camera, and both standing in exactly the same position. Lizzie is bracing Franny to try and make the shot as smooth as possible.
