Franny and Lizzie on ladders - glacier behind
The beautiful Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice) near Chamonix in the French Alps. The glacier is retreating at about 150 metres per year so the ladders have to be extended annually so people can climb down to the glacier. Director Franny Armstrong and Producer Lizzie Gillett almost at the top of the ladders with their camera equipment on their backs.
