Made loads of new problems in the script
Current silver lining:
Solved loads of old problems in the script

Just finished two weeks script writing with David and Emily . Nearly killed me. Brain imploded. Far too many great ideas and no system for marshalling them.

The new structure we've decided upon means that not a single frame of what we've edited is going to be in the final film. I got enormously down-hearted as this sunk in, but D immediately took the opposite tack - the sign of a great working partnership - and argued that, as long as the film is going in the right direction, we all just have to keep battling until eventually we come out with the best film we possibly can. Even if it's a year - or two - or three - later than planned.

Lizzie pointed out that we have nobody on the team in the "Oh no you don't" role. Normally there'd be an Executive Producer or money man coming in and putting a stop to every new idea which creates six months more work.

Anyhow, we're all convinced that the film is constantly improving, so we have no option but to keep going.
