Rod Morris

Directed Oz and NZ Green Carpet Broadcasts
Sydney, Australia
Day job:
Direct live TV broadcasts ... working on my next feature film
Dream job:
Doing it now ... I enjoy my working life immensely
The Age of Stupid
Time on the job:
Still doing bits now ... and since July 09.
Jet, jeep, bus or bike:
Train ... love it ... my BMW is going rusty in the garage!
Original connection:
Was hired to do the job through Global Vision
Why did you get involved?:
Needed the money at the time, but have since gotten 'swept up in the environ-excitement and am an evangelist for the film. I probably tell 2 - 3 new people about it every day.
Memorable moment:
The delayed farewell wave by Eric Philips at the end of our live cross to the Arctic during the Australia and New Zealand Green Carpet broadcast.
Scared of:
Rising sea levels ... I really want to visit the Maldives one day and hope to keep my shoes dry!
Guilty of:
Flying too much ... sorry Franny ... Lizzie ... it's an occupational hazard.
Planning to spend profits on:
More nice dinners.
Will we save ourselves now we have the chance?:
think man will always find a solution ... I'm most interested about 'spongin' the atmosphere of the crap that has gotten us to this point.

Been making moving pictures in lots of different ways since a kid ... the novelty has never worn of ... most proud of 'Dying Breed' so far ... am workign hard on my next feature which will be BIG! Watch this space ...

I love my Rossie ... love my home ... love my cat (Haggis) ...
