Screenings in Jordan

22nd November. This page is under construction, sorry for all the mess. The screening information is correct.

Friends really do make the world go round and they also help pull off amazing premieres. The global launch in Jordan was held on a rooftop in Amman. Thanks go to Anselm Ibing for making it happen over there.

This all started when a friend of Indie Screenings Guru Ben Hecking contacted him and made the world seem like a very small place.

Ben told Anselm about the global launch of film 87and then, when we were looking to run Indie Premieres in countries where we weren't going to get a theatrical release, Anselm stepped into the breach and said he would try and arrange something.

The only problem was that it was Eid and so Jordan had effectively shut down. So Anselm borrowed a projector and decided to hold a screening on the rooftop of his apartment. The photos say it all.

On September 21st / 22nd, on the eve of the UN General Assembly's climate session, The Age of Stupid was launched internationally at the biggest and greenest live film event the world has ever seen. A-list celebrities walked the green carpet to an eco cinema tent in downtown New York, linked by satellite to 700 cinemas in 50+ countries. Take a look at the photos below from the events around the world and see the Global Premiere page for the full report.

From October 5th anyone anywhere can buy a license to screen The Age of Stupid in their school/pub/church/multinational oil corporation.
