Screenings in Italy

22nd November. This page is under construction, sorry for all the mess. The screening information is correct.

One of the most successful countries involved in the Global Premiere on September 22nd, 2009, with packed out cinemas across the country. Alessandra, of WWF Italy, worked amazingly hard and promoted like crazy.

The Rome event went very well. There was a preview one day before the premiere with about twenty journos. At the premiere we had approximately 300 people (board, volunteers, cyberactivists, supporters, politicians, including an italian famous comedian - Giobbe Covatta - and one popular geologist and anchorman - Mario Tozzi - presenting the event).

The cinema looked fantastic with "homeless" polar bears in action holding our banners and little panda from WWF (we organized the event together). At the end of the film, people stayed to see the special contents from the satellite link. Our ED closed the event with a very engaging speech.

On September 21st / 22nd, on the eve of the UN General Assembly's climate session, The Age of Stupid was launched internationally at the biggest and greenest live film event the world has ever seen. A-list celebrities walked the green carpet to an eco cinema tent in downtown New York, linked by satellite to 700 cinemas in 50+ countries. Take a look at the photos below from the events around the world and see the Global Premiere page for the full report.
