| JUNE 11th 2006 - McLibel South Africa, Kleinmond Grail Centre While You Were Sleeping (WYWS), the South African non-profit film collective, showed McLibel as part of a month-long training course that offers conceptual and practical support to young activists in poor communities in southern Africa. WYWS selected McLibel because of its inspiration as a David-and-Goliath story, and because it shows that some of the most important social issues of our time - the exploitation of workers, environmental degradation, corporate control of media, animal cruelty - are in fact part of the same system.
